Novagard Silicone Tile Adhesive 700-163 DESCRIPTION Novagard® RTV 700-163 Silicone Tile Adhesive is a non-corrosive, single-component adhesive for bathroom, pool and spa installations. A non-flowable, high-solids, paste product RTV 700-163 is a fast-tack material with high green strength for early bond and lower odor than conventional acetoxy cured silicones. APPLICATIONS Specially formulated for bonding ceramic tiles, this low-odor material requires no mixing, and cleans-up with soap and water, which facilitates ease of application. When exposed to atmospheric moisture RTV 700- 163 cures to a rubber-like solid, which develops tenacious adhesion to most common pool and spa substrates including: ceramic tile, wood, metal, glass, masonry and fiber glass. May also be used for bonding fiber optic panels, valves, jet handles and other spa components. INSTALLATION As with all single component materials, worklife and cure times of RTV 700-163 are dependent upon environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity and application thickness. Adhesion should be checked on small samples prior to full-scale production. STORAGE Novagard® RTV 700-163 has a shelf-life of twelve (12) months from the date of manufacture, as indicated by the lot number, when stored in the original, unopened container at, or below, 75ºF. PRECAUTIONS Consult and obey all applicable local, state and federal regulations for disposal of solvent and silicone waste. For additional information consult product M.S.D.S. Do not use in or around highly oxidative chemicals such as liquid oxygen, chlorine or peroxides. Not recommended for surfaces that are to be painted.

Novagard G624 Dielectric Silicone Compound, Mil-S-8660C, 5.3 oz Tube

Novagard G624 Dielectric Silicone Compound, Mil-S-8660C, 5.3 oz Tube Review

Novagard G624 Dielectric Silicone Compound, Mil-S-8660C, 5.3 oz Tube Feature

  • Great dielectric properties and resistance to moisture, corrosion, and oxidation
  • Excellent o-ring,gasket,rubber and plastic lubricant
  • Wide temperature range -55ºC to 150ºC (-65ºF to 300ºF)
  • Conforms to SAE AS-8660 (formerly Mil-S-8660C)
  • Smooth consistency for easy application
Novagard G624 is an amorphous fumed silica thickened, polysiloxane based compound. Originally formulated to conform with the specifications outlined in SAE AS-8660; G624 is an excellent water barrier with superior corrosion protection properties. Novagard G624 is a general purpose compound formulated specifically for use as a water repellant coating to prevent corrosion, especially in critical applications that require good dielectric properties. G624 offers superior corrosion protection to many metal substrates, and proven compatibility with a wide range of plastics and elastomeric materials. By combining silicone-lubricating fluids with various thickeners, grease and grease-like compounds with unique physical properties and performance characteristics are created. Novagard is a leading manufacturer of these silicone greases and compounds, which are ideally suited for use in hostile environments and critical lubrication applications. Under most circumstances, silicone-based products provide for a longer service life than many other materials currently available. Extremely versatile products, these compounds offer benefits in a variety of applications. Novagard uses only non-reactive polysiloxane fluids and inorganic fillers to produce very stable, chemically inert, silicone compounds with outstanding physical properties. Choose Novagard silicone compounds for lubrication of plastic and rubber parts, to provide a moisture barrier or seal with good dielectric properties, as a non-corrosive protective coating for high-voltage insulators, or as a heat transfer agent. Each compound will offer specific performance advantages. While more than one product may function in your application, full examination of your specific operation and specifications will usually determine which product is best for you. Do not use in or around highly oxidative chemicals such as liquid oxygen, chlorine, or peroxides.
